This vest is intended to be a very feminine wardrobe addition. Vests are wonderfully versatile and can be worn alone or under a jacket, dressed up or down.

The cables I chose for this design are in keeping with the feminine look—a braid cable in the center adds texture without overwhelming the design, and the small wishbone and delicate knot cable provide visual interest.

The cables I chose for this design are in keeping with the feminine look—a braid panel in the center adds texture without overwhelming the design, and the small wishbone and delicate knot cable provide visual interest. The design is framed with a simple k1, p1 ribbing.

The design originally appeared in my book Aran Sweater Design. It’s reprinted here under a new name.
