ARAN WAVE Cushion Cover

The sample is made in Aran wool, make it in cotton for summer decor.
The cover has a buttoned flap on backside, easy to remove for cleaning.

The wavy pattern with ribbing is inspired by the famous Aran sweater patterns. Likewise the backside with wide ribbing.
The Arans are a group of islands west of the Irish coast, where incredible knitting patterns have been developed for generations.
Love them!

To achieve knit-like Aran stitches in crochet, the patterns looks best worked sideways.
An unusual, but easy and interesting method, just turn the finished work for vertical pattern.
The waves has stitch diagram with written instructions.
Not a mindless pattern, but worth your attention, you will be rewarded with a beautiful piece of crochet!
