ARANSINE - a lovely and practical plain coloured jumper in DK-weight cotton for kids and female adults. Long raglan sleeves.
The pattern is textured with a furrowed border pattern and the main pattern with slanting columns in purl.
The jumper is worked from bottom and upwards in the old fashioned way as I prefer to get the optimal fit - sleeves and body separately. The yoke is worked as a whole in rounds.
Required skill level from 1 (basic) to 5 (advanced): 3.
The measurements given throughout the pattern are all in cm as well as in inches.
Sizes included in the pattern: 8 - 10 - 12 - 14 years (women sizes: small - medium - large).

Length: 46 - 50 - 54 - 56 cm (57 - 58 - 60 cm) (in: 18 - 19.75 - 21.25 - 22 (22.5 - 22.75 – 23.5))
Yarn: this design applies for a DK-weight cotton, 50 g = ca. 125 meters. In total 350 - 400 - 450 - 500 g (550 - 600 - 650 g).
The original model was made in CABLÉ, 100 % cotton (50 g = 125 meters) from Campolmi Roberto Filati in Florence (Firenze), Italy.
Needles: and circular needles no 2,5 and 3,5 mm.
Tension/gauge in stocking st: 22 sts on needles no 3,5 mm = 10 cm.
