This fun twist on ribbing creates a squashy, warm pullover that is flattering and easy to wear. The cable is bold and eye-catching, and the worsted-weight yarn works up quickly. The sweater is worked bottom-up, in the round, starting with a 2x2 rib that blends into the cable as we go. The length of the torso is adjustable, so make it perfect for you. We separate for our sleeves and use a few decreases to create a flattering armhole that moves with us. Shaping is simple and ends with seamed shoulders and an open neck with a doubled collar, worked with some stitches from holders and some that we pick up. Finally we pick up stitches all around the armholes and work the sleeves top-down. Sleeves are mostly ribbed, but get their own cable, similar to, but not matching, our torso cable. We decrease all the way down and end with some simple ribbing. This pullover is loose and comfy, warm and easy to wear.
