This is a tree inspired lace shawl. It was inspired when thinking of the imprints made from tree stumps and what if those imprints could be a dissection of the whole tree. The first five charts (A-E) make the rings from the trunk, the next two charts (F&G) are the branches, and the final chart (H) creates the feather-like leaf canopy that spreads by increasing needle size.
