Arcadia Dress
A versatile cotton dress with an A-line skirt. Include the optional “bling” of slip stitch embroidery and beading or skip it for a simpler dress if you prefer.
9 sizes, published in UK terms with a UK-US conversion chart.
The bust is fitted, then it’s easy to adjust length as the skirt is added top-down. Make the skirt wider by adding 2 extra sts per arcade motif in the lower skirt.
Pattern includes numerous photos to guide your make and help you through the tricky bits, a schematic, numerous stitch charts and descriptive notes on how to customise the top for best fit of your body.**
This is a great project for an Intermediate Level Crocheter who wants to learn some new techniques!
Construction includes vertically oriented rows, top down construction and inserting pleats. Some hand sewing required.
