Archipelago
Archipelago - a group of islands piercing the seaside, just like the beautifully rugged Croatian coastline. The flattering, oversized body is cinched mid-hip for a bulky look. Sleeves are pleated using a couple of increases at the upper edge. The irregular color changes are achieved by knitting the short rows. There is no intarsia or changing colors in one row.
The sweater is knitted in the round, up to the separation of front and back. Front and back are worked flat and then joined at the shoulder seam. Sleeves are worked bottom-up and sewn to the sweater. Short rows both on the body and sleeves give this sweater an interesting and modern look.
The pattern is suitable for advanced beginners.
