Archway Sweater
This pattern has been technically edited and test knitted.
The Archway Sweater is oversized and has a dropped shoulder. The sweater is worked from the top down and starts at the back yoke, with increases to make a slanting shape, and is worked back and forth to the underarm. Then stitches are picked up for the front yoke and woked back and forth to the underarm. After the front and back are joined at the underarm, the body is worked in the round. Then, stitches are picked up for the neckband which is in 1x1 ribbing. Lastly, sleeve stitches are picked up around the armhole and worked in the round. The hem and cuffs are also worked 1x1 ribbing and finished with a tubular bind off. All sections have a chart so you can easily recognize how stitches are incorporated within the pattern.
