Arctic Chill II
There are two patterns included in this purchase. One is for the Arctic Chill II with the double cowls. The other is for a smaller hood and outer cowl only. So much more for you to knit.
I also have an Arctic Chill that is knit in the round without buttons.

The Arctic Chill II Hat and double cowl will keep you snuggly warm when the cold wind blows. It is a versatile and unique winter accessory for cold temperatures. The garment incorporates a generous hood and two cowls, all knitted together. Combining all three together is very easy.
The Arctic Chill II is a similar to my pull over hood. By popular request, I designed an Arctic Chill with buttons on both cowls. You may choose to knit only the outer cowl or both cowls.
The Arctic Chill’s generous hood accommodates layering another hat such as a beanie (not included in this pattern). The outer cowl lays smoothly (without bunching) so that it can be worn under or over your coat, providing extra warmth to your shoulders, upper chest and back. The exclusive inner cowl can be pulled up high over your face for those extra blustery days or it can be worn low around your neck.
Basic stitches are used throughout and there are illustrations showing how this garment is easily connected and knit all in one piece.
