Alberta is home to many types of Fritillary butterflies – one of them being the Arctic Fritillary. These beautiful butterflies are all a lovely shade of orange with black markings. The Arctic Fritillary is found in the prairie, foothills, and mountains of Southern Alberta. These colourful butterflies have inspired this mango-coloured, textured lace cowl, knit in the round.
