GAUGE

  • 32 sts x 36 rows to 4” / 10 cm on US 4 / 3.5 mm needles in 2x2 rib stitch pattern, after blocking, or size to obtain gauge.
  • 20 sts x 28.5 rows to 4” / 10 cm on US 8 / 5.0 mm needles in double seed stitch pattern, after blocking, or size to obtain gauge.

CONSTRUCTION
The sweater is knitted flat from the bottom up in pieces. The front and back pieces are seamed at the shoulders. The sleeves are seamed to the body armhole, then the sides of the sleeves and body are seamed with the mattress stitch. Stitches are picked up at the neck to finish.
