Ardent
You know those treasured single skeins in your stash, patiently waiting for the right project? Whether you’re into solid, speckled, or variegated yarns, you’ve just found the perfect match.
Ardent is an entertaining one-skein shawl with garter stitch and simple lace. You work this shawl on the bias, creating a slightly asymmetric triangle.
This shawl is a fun knit that grows quickly on your needles. As you watch it take shape, you’ll find yourself saying, “Just one more row!”
YARN
One skein of DyeForWool Merino/Silk Fingering (75% merino wool, 25% silk; 400 m / 437 yds per 100 g). Shown in colour Withered Lupin.
Or approximately 400 m / 437 yds of similar fingering weight yarn.
NEEDLES
Size 4 mm / US 6 needles or size to obtain pattern gauge
This shawl is worked flat, but I recommend using 80-100 cm / 32-40 inch circular needles to accommodate the growing number of stitches.
