Årekristall is a series of patterns inspired by the beautiful mountains of Åre in Jämtland. In the same series there are socks in DK and a cowl in Nutiden. All other patterns in the series are available on Ravelry.

In this pattern there are both a mitten and half—mitten included.

These mittens are knitted in double thread of Nutiden in two contrasting colors. Since Nutiden can vary in thickness I recommend you to check your gauge thoroughly to get a nice
result. The same also applies if you choose another yarn, such as Plötulopi. The amount of yarn can also vary depending on yarn.

Gauge:
1820 sts per 10 cm in stranded knitting in the round.

Knitting needles:
3,5 mm and 4 mm double pointed needles or same size for magic loop.

Yarn:
Nutiden from Höner och Eir in two colors, 70+30 grams for biggest size in mittens.
or any other unspun yarn, such as;

-Filtmakeriets förgarn

or single strand of
-Sandnes Kos
-Drops air
