This is a fun and versatile pattern to knit. Knitters who has worked on it tells me it’s highly addictive to knit and has assured me they will knit many more of this beautiful cowl.

The pattern kinda came to me in a dream. A dream where I was Anna and Elsa’s older sister and wore a cowl like this. And so I started working on a pattern, a pattern that would reflect cold and beautiful days of winter, with snowflakes dancing around.

Knitted in the round, the pattern repeats easily all the way around.
An explanatory video is included in the pattern pdf.

Comes in sizes:
Children/XS : 15-16 inches
circumf. /38-40 cm omkrets
Length: ca. 8.5 inches / ca.22 cm

S/M : 18-19 inches circumf./ 46-48 cm omkrets
Length: ca. 11.5 inches / ca. 29 cm

L/XL: 21-22 inches circumf. / 54-56 cm omkrets
Length: ca. 11.5 inches / ca. 29 cm

What you need to make this cowl:
50-100 grams of Drops Air
(100 grams if you wish to make
a long cowl.)

Circular needle US size 9 (5.5)
(16, 24 or 32 inches)

Cable stitch holder if desired.

I’ve knitted it in Drops Air, but you could easily swap that for another bulky yarn like Rauma Puno, Pickles Cozy or Drops Nepal.

Gauge:
14 stitches of pattern:
ca. 3.1 inches (ca. 8cm) knitted
with needle 9 (5.5).
The pattern is worked over 14 stitches. These 14 stitches are worked
around for x amount of times, all depending on what size you’ve
chosen. You can easily adjust the size by adding or subtracting 14
stitches from the total.
