Arezzo is a simple 2 row repeat, zig zag lace pattern that creates an interesting waving fabric. The pattern is easily memorized but creates a complex looking design. The scarf was finished with an optional 2 rows of single crochet, the last of which used size 6 beads that were pre-strung just prior to working the edging. The drape of the rayon and subtle metallic flecks in the yarn make the scarf a touch more special. Gauge is not critical for this pattern. Feel free to substitute different weights fiber (will alter the width). The scarf used approximately 480 yds of light worsted yarn and apprx. 44, size 6 beads.
