Argyle Afghan
This is an afghan/tunisian crochet pattern, featuring both argyle and cable panels. The argyle design is cross-stitched. Note: this booklet calls Aspen Soft and Canadiana Worsted and Sport weight, respectively; Ravelry’s database calls them Aran and Worsted.
Finished Size: 56 x 59 inches (142 x 150 cm), not including tassels.
Yarn: Aspen Soft Bernat Art. 164073 by Spinrite, or worsted yarn:
- 46 oz. Natural Neps #5900 (tweed)
Canadiana Art. 710 by Coats Patons, or sport yarn (used for cross-stitching):
- 14 oz. Dk. Brown #109

- 3-1/2 oz. Tan #153

- 3-1/2 oz. Gold #81

Gauge: With J afghan hook and worsted yarn: 7 afghan sts = 2 inches; 10 afghan st rows = 3 inches; 8 afghan st rows worked in cable pattern = 3 inches.
