As colorful as it is cozy, Argyle Borealis is quick to knit and fun to wear. Knit it tonight and wear it for a winter hike or shopping downtown tomorrow. In fact, knit two. Using two full skeins of the recommended yarn is enough to make two hats - each the color reverse of the other!

This pattern has been professionally tech edited and test knit to reduce the potential for error.

NOTE: Accurate gauge is EXTREMELY important for a correct fit when so few stitches are involved. A SMALL variance in gauge can make for a BIG difference in the size of your finished project and whether you run out of yarn before finishing.

CONSTRUCTION

Hat is cast on and joined into the round. Ribbing is then worked. A change to larger sized needles is made and the work continues in the round.

Hat features an attractive decrease and looks just as lovely without a pompon should you wish to forego this extra embellishment.
