Argyle Crochet Christmas Pillow
Argyle Crochet Christmas Pillow “Grandpa’s Sweater”
If you are looking for a crochet holiday pillow that gives a nod to Christmas but doesn’t scream “CHRISTMAS!”, then this argyle designs pillow is for you! While I love Santa or reindeer décor, I don’t always want everything to be so overtly Christmas. As Christmas décor trends have started to stray more and more away from the traditional reds and greens, this pattern works perfectly. You can customize it to fit whatever your holiday décor color scheme is.
And it’s not for just Christmas. Make in a combination of reds and pinks for Valentine’s Day or a combo of blues and greens for a home library. The possibilities are endless.
The front cover is made with the bobble stitch, which gives the pillow a great nubby texture. If you have never crocheted the bobble stitch before, a PDF of my Bobble Stitch Tutorial is also included with your pattern purchase. Being that you only need to know basic stitches for this pattern, it would be great for an advanced beginner.
This is an easy-to-follow pattern with tons of pictures to help you along the way.
The finished pillow fits an 18” x 18” pillow form.
