Pluviae means rainy in Latin. This cardigan was named after my dear friend who always supports my work.
Pluviae cardigan is knitted using the intarsia technique. Don’t be intimidated yet! You will learn how to do the intarsia knitting while knitting the swatch. (Written Instruction is included)
Once you get familiar with the method, it is time to cast on!
Unfortunately, this is not worked seamlessly. Yet, this will bring you a well-knitted cardigan with a perfect fit.
The back and front of the body are worked flat separately, and they are seamed after blocking. Body & neckband ribbing are done. The button band is knitting using the double knit technique to give a neat look. I know double knitting takes ages but believe me, it is worth it!

플루비에 가디건은 인따르시아 기법을 사용해서 뜹니다. 아직 겁먹지 마세요! 스와치를 뜨면서 인따르시아 기법을 배우게 될 거에요. 인따르시아에 익숙해지면 이제 캐스트온을 할 시간입니다.
아쉽게도 이 가디건은 조각조각으로 떠야합니다. 하지만 완벽한 핏의 잘 짜여진 가디건으로 완성됩니다. 바디의 뒷부분과 앞부분을 평면뜨기를 하고 편물을 이어줍니다. 바디와 넥밴드 고무단을 한뒤 버튼밴드는 깔끔한 느낌을 주는 더블니팅으로 뜹니다. 더블니팅은 시간이 오래 걸리지만 그만한 가치가 있습니다.
