ALERT: If you have the first printing of the book the owl chart for the sweater had his ears removed :( reference the owl chart for the hat later on in the book and you will see where the ears belong on the chart! Please message me if you have questions.

I designed this Fair Isle owl pattern using my tablet device, sharing various iterations with good knitting friends, tweaking the little design stitch by stitch until it looked just right. My youngest daughter loves owls, and I knit this sweater’s gauge swatch into a coordinating little owl hat just for her (Rowan Owl Hat, page 128).
