About Ari Kids Sweater
This pattern was inspired by Malabrigo new yarn weight Noventa. A not too bulky superwash merino wool that knits up fast and is incredibly soft. Most instructions are written, but you will follow chart for sleeve cable pattern.

Size
Finished Measurements
Child sizes 2 (4, 6, 8) 10 (12, 14, 16) years
• Finished Bust: 26 (28, 30, 32) 33.5 (35.5, 37, 38) inches
• Finished upper arm: 10 (10.5 11.25, 12) 12.5 (12.5, 12.75, 13) inches
To choose size, measure chest and add 5-6 inches of positive ease for a slightly oversize fit. Choose the closest finished bust measurement.

Knitting Needles
• Size US 10/6mm DPN’s and 16” & 24” circular needles. These will be used for cuffs, hem, and neck ribbing. If using magic loop, a longer circular needle will work and eliminate need for DPN’s.
• US 11/8mm circular needles 16”, 24”or 30” and DPN’s. Body and sleeves are knitted in this size needle. The shorter circular needle work great when starting the yoke before moving on to longer needles as stitches increase. DPN are needed for knitting sleeves in the round. If using magic loop, you don’t need DPN’s.
