A FESTIVE FEELING is a reversible cowl featuring a large cable and a fun mix of ribbing, seed stitch and garter stitch. To add even more zest to the movement given by the alternating textures, the cowl is twisted before grafting it, making it a true “Moebius scarf”.

Designed to celebrate the first Knitting Night at Woolcrossing (Turin – Italy) in November 2018, this pattern was originally intended to inspire last-minute Christmas gifts – hence the name “A festive feeling”.
But do not be misled by its name, as this is not a Christmas themed cowl, but a versatile garment and an ideal everyday wear. With its playfulness, it will bring a little color to the otherwise dull and grey wintery months.

“A festive feeling” is made with 150g/375m of bulky yarn (suggested yarn: Wool Addicts Air di Lang Yarns) and large needles (suggested size: 5.50 mm / US 9): it is a project which knits up quickly and easily.

ARIA DI FESTA è uno scaldacollo completamente reversibile che presenta una grossa treccia e un’allegra alternanza di costa, grana di riso e legaccio. Per completare il movimento già ottenuto con i cambi di texture, il collo presenta anche una torsione con effetto Moebius.

Nato per celebrare la prima Knitting Night di Woolcrossing nel Novembre 2018, questo modello era inizialmente proposto come un’idea per i regali di Natale alle amiche – da qui appunto il nome “Aria di Festa”.

Il nome e il richiamo al Natale non devono però trarre in inganno: si tratta di un capo versatile, adatto ad essere indossato tutti i giorni, da ottobre a febbraio, per portare un po’ di gioia e calore nelle giornate altrimenti fredde e monotone.
Per realizzarlo sono richiesti solo 150g/375m di filato di tipo bulky (filato consigliato: Wool Addicts Air di Lang Yarns, ferri 5,50 mm): è un progetto veloce, che dà grandi soddisfazioni in poco tempo.
