Ariel top
The Ariel top is knitted seamlessly in the round starting at the hem. The body is worked in a beautiful lace pattern that looks like mermaid tails. Straps are worked separately and then attached to the top. Lengths are given for two versions: cropped or normal length. But the length of the top is adjustable, and you can easily match the top for your own body measurements.
The top can also be knitted and worn without the straps. In that case I suggest you add a piece of elastic band inside the folded rib band.
The lace pattern is modified from a lace chart found in the Japanese Knitting Stitch Bible by Hitomi Shida.
