“In 2019, I visited Seville, and the tiles I saw when I visited the Alcázar palace were so inspiring,” says designer Juliet Bernard. “For these mitts, I have worked one particular tile in two different directions to create a very strong graphic pattern.” Juliet’s project is knitted in Debbie Bliss’s Toast yarn, which blends wool, cashmere and polyamide for a smooth, sumptuous feel. It’s surprisingly practical, too, as it is machine-washable on a cool setting. The colour palette offers a choice of 10 sophisticated shades.
