Yarn:
For sample pair of mittens I used 100% merino yarn, 300 metres per 100 grams. I used 59 grams of yarn. A fingering weight yarn is recommended. Choose a yarn with approximately 280 – 320 metres per 100 grams. Amount to be used 60 – 75 grams.

Materials:
Needles: US 1½ (2.5 mm) DPNs or circular for magic loop
Safety pin or peace of scrap yarn
Tapestry needle for weaving in the ends

Gauge: 27 stitches & 36 rows per 2.5 inches (10 cm) in Stockinet stitch.
