Arizona Butterfly Shawl
Yes it may be hot here in Arizona but we still have beautiful butterflies! We were inspired by Arizona Butterflies like the “Gulf Fritillary” and “Arizona Sister.” We love the sections of color and shapes in each amazing butterfly’s wing. This is a crescent shaped shawl with some sections with stockinette, some with garter, and a little bit of increasing. Its a pattern that keeps your brain interested but easy enough to be able sit and binge watch a documentary on Butterflies around the world maybe :)
Every type of butterfly is unique and this pattern is written with options for your shawl “wing” edge. You can add beads or a second color that can be solid, tonal or variegated. All will look beautiful and to add to the uniqueness of your AZ Butterfly Shawl.
