Arlequina Shawl is tribute to the Italian Comedia dell´Arte, a comic character in old stories and plays who wears a mask and colorful clothes with a diamond pattern, is a clue part of The Venice Carnivals
With this Shawl I want to recreate one more time the feeling of Venice, comedy, drama, art, music, all together to make you live an incredible experience in this unique city!
Arlequina Shawl is a two colors triangular shape shawl worked in one piece from top-down, starts at the center back of the neck and is knit down to the bottom edge.
There is 2 stitches garter border on each side, 2 yarn over at beginning and end border and 1 yo on each side
of center shawl, total of 6 stitches increases on each right side row.
Border shawl is worked perpendicular, joining stitches to a previous worked row.

Needle Size
US G6/4mm circular needle (32”/80cm) or size to obtain gauge.
A long circular needle is recommended in order to accommodate the large number of stitches
as the shawl beautiful grows.

16 sts and 32 rows = 4” (10cm) in stockinette stitch
