Leg warmers for your arms! Soft and snug during the winter months and brilliant for combatting cold steering wheels on chilly mornings. These arm warmers are knitted in a cashmerino yarn, a mixture of cashmere, merino wool and silk but you can choose any yarn in DK weight.
The four row pattern is a variation on basket rib and gives the arm warmers their stretchiness.
I have finished off the top, bottom and thumbhole edges with a row of double crochet (US single crochet) but this is by no means essential.
Included in this pattern are also the adaptations needed to make little leg warmers for your toddlers. The stitch pattern gives a very flexible fabric so you can adapt to many sizes by using different yarns and needle sizes.
