A few years ago I saw this ornament in some magazine for knitting, just small square repeating pattern for knitting sweater or blanket, and I liked it very much.

So I drew it in my notebook for ideas and later I made arm warmers with this pattern. To me it looks like some leaves.
I made several variants of arm warmers and mittens, so you can also do some changes, add fingers… - express your creativity.

These arm warmers are knit in the round from cuff to fingers, with increases for the thumb gusset. The thumb is knit last.

I am using five double pointed needles (DPN), but it can easily be knit with 2 circular needles or with only 1 long circular needle - the magic loop method.

This is my own design. This pattern is for personal use of the buyer only. The pattern cannot be sold or copied in any form, but finished items may be sold, as long as I am credited as the designer with a link to my Etsy shop where appropriate.
