Armchair Traveller
This is the cuddliest most comforting cushion you could imagine. I was inspired by the Herefordshire countryside to create a cushion for those of us who prefer to stay at home!
It is made from two weights of Scheepjes Stone Washed yarn. (or River Washed)
First the mesh base is made with the sport weight yarn and 3.5mm hook; then surface crochet is added using the aran wieght yarn and 5mm hook.
I’ve used 4 colours to create a tartan style check.
I’ve used 6 balls of the sport weight in total and 4 balls of the aran in total. More exact quantities and gauge are given in the pattern.
The pattern fits a 16” / 40-42cm Cushion pad.
The stitches used are Back Bump Treble (Dc-USA), the technique is illustrated, Chain, and surface chain.
