This is more of a recipe than a pattern with instruction on how to create a jar cozy for a half-pint mason jar. The cozy includes a bottom, so your jar won’t slip out of the cozy when you have a drink. The pattern is easily modified for different yarn weights and sizes of jars, and can be knit with either the magic loop method or double pointed needles.

Pattern was only available as part of a kit at Wynona Studios in Oregon City, Oregon. The kit includes the pattern, yarn, and a packet of Koolaid to dye the finished cozy, all packaged in a mason jar with a lid for $6.
