Need new armour for your next expedition? These mittens may be just the thing - designed with a double layer cuff and knit with two strands of yarn, they’ll help protect your hands from cold winter weather.

Warning: Not tested against orcs, goblins, or dragons - wear in battle at your own risk.

Finished size: About 8” around at the palm/finger intersection, 7.5” inches or so, after blocking - designed to fit an “average” hand. If there is interest, I’ll work on bigger and smaller sizes.

Gauge: 30sts and 32rows per 4” in stranded stockinette with larger needles. Additionally, for the cuff, gauge required is 30sts and 36rows per 4” with smaller needles.

Materials required: Size 3mm and size 3.5mm needles, either DPNs, 1 or 2 circulars - whatever your preference, as long as you get gauge.

Yarn: VG/SG/CY Traveller - approximately 2/3 skein for the main color, 1/3 skein for the contrasting color.
