I told a friend I’d make him a hat, but I couldn’t find a men’s hat pattern that was just right. So this is what I came up with. :smiley:

This hat is knit in the round with the inside of the hat facing you. This gives you the textured reverse stockinette pattern without having to purl. When the work is finished, the hat is turned right-side out and the brim is rolled up, showing off the simple slip stitch ribbed pattern.

This is a quick and simple knit and also man-approved.

One skein of Western Sky Knits- Willow Worsted is plenty for this hat.
