This headband pattern is knit in the round from the bottom up. It has a ribbed pattern with colorwork in between. This is a super bulky headband pattern and great to use up scraps! You can use any colors your heart desires. The color change is flawless as I use a knitting technique that won’t show the purl bumps when changing colors.

I used malabrigo Rasta and a super bulky by honey stitch and co. Any size 6 yarn weight will work. Like Lion brand wool ease thick and quick, hometown, homespun. Baah mammoth. WAK the Wool.

Yardage used for MC is 25-32 yards/43-53 grams, CC is 10-13 yards/17-20 grams. Total yardage is 35-45/60-73 grams.

Headband measures 9 1/2 inches wide by 5 inches tall. This headband is nice, thick and warm. Covers the ears and won’t fall down or slip up!
