Each month our local meet up group is focusing on a different region of the world and some of their traditional stitching techniques. Where it applies, we explore the history of the regions, fibers used, etc.

With your purchase, you get:
-a brief history of the knitting stitch/technique/country we are exploring (this month includes learning how samurai get in on the action)
-patterns for 2 sample projects
-links to help you further explore the topic

Because these patterns are for samplers, yarn weight and needle size really don’t matter. Neither does gauge. Our samples for Japanese stitching were knit with sport weight yarn and a size 3 needle.

Solid or semi-solid colorways are best for these particular patterns.
