Single crochet entrelac achieves the popular block-by-block technique of entrelac using only single crochet and chain stitches. This pattern contains step-by-step photos and instructions for several configurations of entrelac including diamonds on point, diagonal stripes, around the world, and sunshine and shadow.
With the Around the World arrangement, begin in the center with one or more blocks set on point, then work rounds of blocks outward from center. This arrangement can be worked as a rectangle, beginning with more than one block, or as a square, beginning with a single center block.
