Arpège is a loose drop shoulders pullover worked seamlessly from the top down with large colourwork motifs on the body
First the back is knitted, then the stitches are pick up and knit at the shoulders to form each half front. Back and front are then joined and knitted together in a circular.
You can make a shorter version to wear at the waist.

For the hem two types of finishes are proposed: a ribbing edge or a lace edge.
Also the neckline is finished with either an icord or a ribbing.

Gauge
26 sts x 34 rounds = 10 cm /4 inches in stockinette on larger needles, after blocking.

Needles
• 3,5 mm US 4 circular needles for the body and sleeves.
• 2,75 mm US 2 circular needles for ribbing.

Always use the needle size that gives you the right gauge! Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.

Arpège est un pull avec une construction épaules tombantes et une bonne aisance. Il se tricote du haut vers le bas (top-down) sans couture. On commence par réaliser le dos, les mailles sont ensuite relevées aux épaules pour venir former chaque demi-devant. Dos et devant sont ensuite réunis et tricotés ensemble en circulaire en réalisant tout au long du corps un motif de jacquard évoluant tout au long de l’ouvrage.

Vous pouvez réaliser une version plus courte à porter à la taille.

Les manches sont tricotées en circulaire.
Pour le bas du corps deux types de finitions sont proposées : une finition en côtes ou une bordure en dentelle.
De même l’encolure se termine soit par une finition icord soit par une finition en côtes.

Le modèle de présentation a été tricoté en « Squirrel’s Yarns» dans la base 80% Merino, 10% Cachemire, 10% Nylon couleur « Hématite » pour la couleur principale, « Menthe-chocolat» pour la couleur contrastante.
