Arrochar
Arrochar is a textured two-colour cowl worked in the round using DK/8 ply yarn. It is a straightforward knit that uses only one colour per row in a simple slipped-stitch mosaic pattern and incorporates neat twisted rib edges at the top and bottom.
Yarn Requirements
8 ply/DK yarn in two colours:
MC = 196 yards/180 metres,
CC = 98 yards/90 metres.
The taupe and white cowl was knitted in Tarndie Polwarth 8 ply (100% Polwarth Wool; 196 yards/180 metres per 100 gram ball/skein) in Taupe (MC), 1 ball, and White (CC), 1 ball.
The blue and brown cowl was knitted in Tarndie Polwarth 8 ply yarn that I hand-dyed in blue (MC), 1 ball, and brown (CC), 1 ball.
