This pattern started as an idea for a gender neutral hat with some intricate detail. The pattern is created using slip stitches and is designed for a tight fit, with little ease.

Please measure your child’s head circumference before choosing the right size. The pattern has the option of using a either a single coloured yarn or completing the pattern of slipped stitches in a contrast colour. The pattern also details how to add extra “pixie point” to your hat. There are also instructions for using a 2nd colour in the stitch detail.

0-3 months (13” - 14”
3-6 months (14” - 17”)
6-12 months (16” - 19”)
1-3 years (18”- 20”)
4 years + (19” - 20.5”)
