Arrow Scarf
This pattern is
available for free.
I wrote this pattern for an absolute beginning knitter who had just learned to knit but hadn’t learned to purl. It’s a dead simple patter that gives a nice result. The only thing else you need to know besides how to do the knit stitch is how to do a yarn over, a knit two together, and a bind off. That’s it. Easy Peasy first project.
Abbreviations:
K = knit.
yo = yarn over.
K2tog = knit two stitches together.
Each “arrow” is 24 stitches wide. An extra 2 stitches were added on both the left and right edges to make a 4-stitches-wide bar to match those between the “arrows.”
Probably 8 skeins of knitting worsted yarn would be enough to make this.
