This pattern allows you to create a cozy, heavier beanie for those cold back country hikes, or a lightweight beanie for a relaxing walk with the family. The pattern uses knitting under loose strands to create an “arrowhead” design that mimic cabling but it much more simple in execution.

Skill Level is Advanced Beginner/Intermediate

Required Tools (depending on weight chosen):
US size 13/9mm, 16” circular needles
US size 10.5/6.5mm, 16” circular needles
US size 10/6mm, 16” circular needles

Pattern is knit in the round.

Pattern is written in one standard youth/adult size.

Pattern is written with 3 weight sizes as options; Super Bulky, Bulky and Light Bulky/Worsted
