I saw an adorable summer sweater on Ravelry, but it was for women. I wanted something similar for my little girl, so this idea was born. Knit in a loose gauge, it knits up very quickly, and Comfy, a cotton/acrylic gives it a beautiful drape while still holding the shape and is a the perfect fiber for summers in Southern California. The lace at the tops provides an interesting detail, but is still modest and appropriate for young girls. Knit with a bit of positive ease and a little long, this adorable sweater should fit her for a couple of years. I hope you enjoy it.
