This cowl pattern coordinates with my Arrowhead Trail knit hat pattern. The patterns are named after one of my favorite roads on the north shore of Minnnesota. Tucked way up in the town of Hovland is a bumpy dirt road that leads to almost nowhere, surrounded by lush moose swamps and white pines, jack pine, and birch.

The pattern is written for one size, but instructions for adapting both width and height can be found in the notes section. The pattern is written to use one single skein of the yarn pictured, and any adaptations to make the cowl taller/wider will require additional yarn.

The cowl is knit in the round from the bottom up.
