The sweater is made of a thinner yarn like sports weight, that provides for a finer knit and more realistic look. It has a flattering puffy sleeve and a pretty ribbon bow may be added.

This sweater is made using variation on a “top-down” pattern - without side seams. The only seams are under arms in the sleeves and in the back.

The entire sweater when completed weighs about 2 ounces, so you can make this from scraps, or get yarn from a “sale” bin.

I used a Baby / Sports weight good quality acrylic in this sweater.
