With the gads of self-striping sock yarns available to today’s knitter, you have many choices for a striped sock. Or even a zig-zag sock. But what about polka dots? Art Socks are a blank canvas in which to release your inner artist! I was trying to think outside-the-box. What would make a sock truly unique? Truly different?

Thus, the Art Sock was born!

All you need is a finished pair of socks, a photo-editing program and some dye! It’s fast, easy and fun! :) And something you could do with your kids too! (You can easily substitute Kool-Aid for the dye in this project for your kids!)

This pattern is written toe-up on 2 circulars, but could be adapted to work on DPN’s as well. :)
