This crescent shawl marries Studioloo’s handspun art yarn and hand dyed bootsie-loo fingering weight/sock yarn. It has elements of lace and embroidery and is suitable for a beginner knitter. You will create a unique one-of-a-kind lovely shawl with this pattern, and learn a few new techniques. This shawl is inspired by the beauty of trees and nature.

The pattern has notation about easy modifications that will allow you to make the shawl larger than the standard medium size.

For this pattern, you will require approximately 400 yds. of fingering weight yarn and 60 yds. of handspun yarn in a bulky weight. The yarn used should not have abnormally large add-ins but some smaller add-ins are fine.
