This shawl was inspired by the seasonal circular expansion of the ice cap and the ripples made by icebergs detaching from the glacier and falling into the ocean. The mispelling of Arctic is voluntary and is a nod to a personal piece of context from when this pattern was born.

Construction & tips
The shawl is worked in three sections starting from the center top, with brioche edges at the sides and an applied lace border at the bottom.
Section 1: lace
Section 2: 2-colour brioche
Section 3: garter st and short row shaping with decorative eyelets
