Artichoke French Hoodie
Artichoke French Hoodie is a cardigan version of my Artichoke French Sweater from The Rhinebeck Sweater.
Artichoke French is worked flat from the bottom up! It has compound raglan shaping at the yoke to ensure a beautiful fit. The Artichoke French stitch travels up the sleeves and body and decreases into the yoke.
You can choose to knit your sweater with or without ninja cuffs. Finally, if you have never installed a zipper before, the pattern will help with that! It isn’t as hard or scary as it looks!
1000 (1100, 1300, 1350, 1550, 1820, 1950, 2100) yards, 914 (1005, 1189, 1234, 1417, 1664, 1783, 1920) meters of aran weight yarn
(this amount includes approx. 10% extra, be sure to purchase more if you are going to make modifications!)
Jill Draper Makes Stuff, Mini Empire Heathers; (100% Rambouillet Wool; 213 yd 195 m/ 113 g); Ichabod’s Pumpkin
The first 3 sizes can be made with a larger skein of Empire, just keep in mind if you make Size 3 with a “yarn baby” you won’t have enough yarn for any modifications.
