Artichoke hat
This pattern is now available as a PDF in US terms! It has been updated, re-edited and re-tested to work out some of the kinks that were issues printed in the magazine version.
PDF errata (PDF will be corrected shortly, 4/7/12): Round 9: Sl st in first 4 sts, ch 2, dc2tog over next 2 sc, FPtr around next FPdc, dc in next 2 sc, ch 1, dc in next 2 sc, FPtr around next FPdc $ dc3tog over next 3 sc, FPtr around next FPdc, dc in next 2 sc, ch 1, dc in next 2 sc, FPtr around next FPdc; rep from $ around, join with sl st in first dc2tog—50 dc, 20 FPtr, 10 ch-1 sps.
If working from the magazine, please check errata below pattern text before beginning pattern. Sorry for the errors!
Cozy up to cool weather with this richly textured cap. Raised stitches form a diamond-shaped cable pattern that outlines each squishy bobble as you work your way through the pattern. Worked from the top down in one piece, you can easily modify the length if desired. Finish it off with a crab stitch border.
ERRATA- changes in bold.
Round 5: Stitch count should read 10 1-ch sps (not 20).
Round 6 (WS): 1 ch, turn, dc in same st as join and next st, bobble in 1-ch sp, dc in next 5 sts, repeat …. dc in remaining 3 sts.
Round 9: Stitch Count should include 10 ch-1 sps.
Rounds 16-26: Repeat Rounds 10-15, then 10-14 once more.
