Artichoke Twist
Richly colored yarn and a unique cable design at the hems and yoke combine for a classic cardigan with modern appeal.
Bust Measurement: 35 (38½, 42, 45½, 49, 52½, 56)“
Yardage: 1050 (1175, 1300, 1425, 1550 1675,
1800) yds
Notes: Body and sleeves are worked separately from the bottom up to the armholes, then joined for the yoke.
Tall Sizes: To make it longer work extra length before the armholes.
Plus Sizes: Add Horizontal Bust Darts 1.5 to 2” below the armhole to have a better fit.
Be sure to check a BLOCKED GAUGE!
ERRATA:
Body
After bottom edge is worked: Inc Row (WS): p2, k2, m1p, purl to last 4 sts, m1p, k2, p2— 158 (174, 190, 206, 222, 238, 254) sts. Keeping the first and last 4 sts as they are work as est until piece meas 15½“ from cast on, ending after a RS row.
Row 25 of Chart: instead of the first p2 it should be 2 to 1/1 RPC then the second should be 2 to 1/1 LPC. At least that is how I did it in the original and it should keep the cables continuous.
